The Team

Robert Paul Mune was born in Wanstead in East London. He played football on the Church Green. His teenage life was saved by rock'n'roll. He's had lots of jobs. The worst was for the Civil Service. The best was working in a Camden Town nightclub. He's traveled a lot, he's played music since he was tiny. Now he lives in California where he enjoys the mountain views and bird song. He tries to be a good man.

Simon Hancock is from the countryside. When he plays the drums it doesn't seem as if there is anything else on his mind. He was one of more than 200 drummers who answered the ad. reading 'STAR DRUMMER WANTED'. First he moved to London, then on to Los Angeles. Now he lives amongst the madness of Venice Beach where the Hippies' Drum Circles seem to exist only to drive him crazy. For relaxation he cycles straight up mountains. Then straight down again. He tries to be a good man.
